Hey guys I installed this on Ephiphone Wilshire p90 but unfortunatelly the tuning Is non-reliable. Any recommendation about how to fix it? Probably a new nut. I also added a rolled saddle bridge and I think it got worst

The humbucker mode sounds way too bright and thin to my taste, to not say even screechy. A shame because the Jeff DaRosa Alliance model is truly a beautiful guitar, love it's simplicity and elegance (and that colour!), I wanted one until I watched some Senior and DaRosa guitar demos 🙁.

Waiting for my Duesenberg Starplayer TV Semi-hollowbody Electric Guitar - Vintage Orange on back order. Love my Fairytale lap steel I just received!

I bought a Diamond short Tremola & installed it myself. There is no manual. The only part that is confusing is the spring. I screwed a mounting screw, through what looked like a bottom “plate” washer that the spring sits on, down on to the tremola. The spring seems to fit between the top piece that is like a cup & the bottom plate piece, right? But the spring will easily fall out if there is no string strung yet? Right? For the spring to stay in place, you have to have spring tension right?

A couple of years ago I thought of buying an ES 335. My son who's a professional musician suggested I look at a Duesenberg which I had never heard of other than the cars. I became intrigued with the Gran Majesto but also fell in love with the looks of a butterscotch Caribou. I bought them both. Such quality. Even the cases are the best I've ever had. Sign

Wow. I was already deeply in love with my Duesey StarPlayer Custom and StarPlayer Special bit now love them even more so. So much love put into my canvas. I really, really need to practice soo much more to become truly worthy ... But that is not a job that s off-putting ... whatsoever ...😊😂❤

I am living in Chiang Mai Thailand and though I’ve run across many great guitarists here it is a bit of a guitar desert when it comes to quality instruments. Of course you can import but with import tax and duty approaching 30%. Amazingly, I was able to locate what was the only Duesenberg in Thailand at the time. I was happy to pay a new price for a like new Duesenberg Double Cat in black but without the extra $1,000 for shipping and duty which made it affordable for me. I absolutely love my Double Cat! Being an ex career violin maker, I really appreciate your attention to detail from all of your skilled and dedicated luthiers. Fantastic!!! Thank you Duesenberg !!!

I love the fact you guys use custom hardware. Even brands like PRS use generic knobs and switches, so boring, so repetitive... Your stuff stands out in a good way for sure.

Is there a way to rewire the duesenburg electric guitar to inphase in the middle position for the bridge pickup for the double cat? I want a fuller sound.. it sounds to high pitched barky for my ears.. no offense intended, it’s just my ears and I love the sound of the bridge and neck pickups individually. I read that one could re-wire the middle position so that the bridge pickup will be in phase. If someone could give me some advice hear that would be great!

is it possible to remove the arm form the tremblo?

WHY doesn’t anybody use a roller bridge with these? Do they not notice the strings scraping and cutting into the bridge? If you think this trem works well with no roller bridge, just try a roller bridge and feel the world of difference. I can not imagine posting a vid like this. Can’t you hear the strings sawing into the bridge like a hacksaw? Unbelievable! If you overlook huge problems like this, for one you shouldn’t be modding guitars, and secondly, your ear for tone really sucks and you should try a more primitive instrument like a washboard! I’m sure it will sound just fine to you. Maybe you could play it with a wood rasp if you like the sound of metal scraping. This is a good trem, but you made it suck along with that over priced Gibson.

They quickly mention the lock nut that controls the tremolo arm. Even if you do not adjust it, it comes loose or did for me over time. This to me seems like the major design flaw as your tuning instantly disappears. I initially really liked it, but it is no longer usable to me as it loosens after minutes of use for me. I would have to use locktite to stabilize it at this point I think. Even then, that is a fix that i would like to avoid and instead have something mechanically sound. Until this point of weakness is addressed, I do not foresee buying another. I know this is a common issue also. I am willing to go with a hardtail in the meantime though as I prefer tuning stability above all else, which, is why I gravitated towards this tremolo over the Bigsby in the first place. It is a shame there is this one significant point of failure in an otherwise well thought out, smooth tremolo.

Man they're really laser focusing on the Mike Campbell model. Would have been nice to see other guitars / colors / models like the Phonic version highlighted a little as well. I'm also wondering how the pickups in the Phonic model compares to the other Starplayer TV's more normal looking pickups. Why oh why did they only have 2 basic colors (black / white) available for the phonic version of the Starplayer TV?

The self locking nut underneath the tremolo arm in my Les Trem is apparently not "self locking" anymore and the arm is getting way too loose all the time. Has anyone here found a solution for this? A replacement nut perhaps?

I'm in Finland. We got loads of Lutherans here, but I can't find one who knows a damn thing about fitting tremolo units.
